What products does Bruma Finance offer?

We offer personal Loans that range between R1000 and R15 000 with repayment terms from 6 to 18 months. We also offer Debt Consolidation and pay the balance directly into your bank account.

How do I apply for a loan with Bruma Finance?

Simply click on the ‘Apply’ button and fill in your personal details. From there one of our consultants will get in touch with you and talk you through the application process. Once we receive your completed application form and requested documentation your application is ready to be processed. You are also welcome to call our call centre on 0861 33 11 33 should you wish to apply telephonically or ask any of our specialised consultants for assistance.

What documents do I need to apply for a loan with Bruma Finance?

You will need a clear copy of your Identity document, a copy of your most recent payslip and a copy of your latest two months bank statements. Please note that we do not accept internet bank statements.

If you are applying for Debt Consolidation, we will also need a copy of the relevant settlement letters.

How old do I have to be to apply for a loan with Bruma Finance?

We will only accept your application if you are between 21 and 60 years of age.

How long does it take for my loan to be paid into my bank account?

Once your loan has been approved, we may pay out as quickly as that very same day. If not, you will be paid the next morning. If your application is approved the day before a non-working day, then your loan will be paid out on the first subsequent working day.

If I already have a loan with Bruma Finance, can I apply for an additional loan?

Absolutely, as long as you have paid at least three consecutive monthly instalments on your current loan with us, you are more than welcome to apply for an additional loan.

Can I apply for a loan with Bruma Finance if I am a weekly/fortnightly earner?

Yes, we welcome applications from weekly and fortnightly earners. Weekly earners must submit their latest four consecutive payslips and fortnightly earners must submit their latest two consecutive payslips.

Can I apply for a loan with Bruma Finance on behalf of a relative or friend?

No, for your protection and security you are only allowed to apply for a loan in your name and not on behalf of a relative or friend.

If I am an owner of a business can my business apply for a loan with Bruma Finance?

No, we only offer loans to individuals and do not offer loans to Institutions or Companies.

Can I apply for a loan with Bruma Finance if I am listed on any Credit Bureau Data Base?

Yes, this is not a problem as long as you are not under or have applied for administration, debt review or sequestration.

Can I apply for a loan with Bruma Finance if I am under or have applied for Administration or Debt Review?

No, we will not accept your application if you are under or have applied for Administration, Debt Review or Sequestration.

Can I reapply for a loan with Bruma Finance if my previous application was not successful?

Yes, we grant our clients the opportunity to reapply. For a positive result, we suggest that our clients reapply in the event that their circumstances have changed favourably.

Do I have to be employed in order to qualify for a loan with Bruma Finance?

Yes, we will only accept your application if you are permanently employed and have been working at your place of employment for more than six months.

What is the minimum salary requirement?

You need to earn at least R2000 net salary, per month in order to apply for a loan with us.

Do I have to have my own bank account to apply for a loan?

Yes, you do need to have your own bank account. It is also very important for us to see that your monthly salary reflects in your bank account. Please make sure that you give us the details of the bank account that your salary is deposited into.

Can I apply if I don’t receive payslips?

No, according to legislative requirements we need your formal salary slip in order to conduct an affordability assessment.

Can I apply if I am paid my salary in cash or by cheque?

No, your salary must be paid directly into your bank account through electronic funds transfer (EFT).

How do I get a Loan Statement?

Once a month a loan statement will be emailed to you so please ensure that we have your email address.

How do I get a Settlement quotation?
